Santa squeezing down the chimney!

My daughter is very concerned that santa won't be able to fit down our chimney because it is quite narrow. This one's for you Lois, I reckon he can just about squeeze down.

We are getting our Christmas tree this week, looking forward to decorating it with a mulled wine in hand!

This is my desk! I like to have lots of inspiration around me, which is my excuse for it being a bit of a mess. This isn't the worst bit either. I might tidy it up one day... sometime before Christmas!

Beautiful trees

This is part of  design for girl's bedding, I 've been doing quite a few with pretty trees on.  I love trees, and think it's really important that we look after our precious woodland.

A bit of snow?

There's been just a tiny bit of snow up on the hills today, and its frrrrreeezing! Wonder if we'll have a white Christmas this year...

Busy traffic

We did at lot of this over the weekend - sitting in traffic!!! Why are there always roadworks where I want to go? This design is part of a collection of work for boys bedding I'm doing for Heimtex in January. I will hopefully have lots of nice designs by then!

Feeling festive

This is part of a Christmas design I've entered for a Tigerprint surface pattern competition. I've got my finger crossed! It would be ace to win!!!

Cuppa tea anyone?

I'm just having my morning cuppa, and thought I'd share a teacups design I did a while ago. I think this design was inspired by my mum, who loves her cups of tea, and collects lots of blue and white china!

Owl crazy...

There seem to be a lot of owls around at the moment! Lots in the shops on prints, and some very noisy ones behind our house at night. Here is part of an 'owls in the woods ' design.
