Owls in the trees

This is part of an owl design by me and my daughter. Lois drew me some funny owls and I worked them into this design. Ironically, I'm quite tired today, as we have some very noisy owls living in the trees behind our house. They start calling to each other loudly round about 5 in the morning! Nice to have them living nearby though.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

A day at the beach

A little section of a beach huts design I recently did. I think it would be ace to have your own little beach hut. We had a family morning out on the beach at Whitby last week, but it was a bit too cold and windy to sit down! Maybe in a couple of months....

new cat

We've just got a new black cat, Jack. He's great, very friendly and happy to be with us. He has been in a rescue centre for months. However, our other black cat, Pickle is not so sure yet. I'm sure they will become friends eventually.

I borrowed this lovely book from the library to inspire me. It's got some great recipes in it, and I don't want to give it back!

I found this lovely wrapping paper in John Lewis, I think sweets will be a big trend, as everyone loves them. It just reminds me of going to the sweet shop as a kid and trying to decide for ages what to have....

birds on a blossom tree

Here is a little section of a recent birds design for girl's bedding. I wanted it to feel fresh and springlike! Me and my daughter Jess had a sit in the garden yesterday, and talked about how we miss the leaves and flowers. Roll on spring!
